Buonvicino is a town located in the Calabria region of southern Italy. It is a municipality in the province of Cosenza, and is situated in the hills on the Tyrrhenian Sea coast. The town has a long history, dating back to the Roman era, when it was known as “Bonum Vicinum.” During the Middle Ages, Buonvicino was fought over by various powers, including the Byzantines, Normans, and Saracens. You can take a bus from Cosenza to Buonvicino. Bus times and routes can vary, so we recommend checking the updated timetables and local transport options before traveling. Another detail you need to know is that, in the south of Italy, transport does not work as well as in the north of Italy. There are few timetable options and this will cost you more hours of travel.
